Earlier today, CUPE, the union representing Air Canada’s Flight Attendants, issued a strike notice. Air Canada subsequently responded by issuing a lockout notice moments later. While this is an important step in their fight for a fair deal, it is business as usual for our members at this time.
The Company has confirmed to us there are no current plans to place our members off duty. However, it is important to note that this situation can change rapidly.
