As part of that “reopening” process, the government has announced that effective Tuesday, June 15,
2021, social gatherings of up to fifty (50) people will be allowed. Under Local Lodge 764 bylaws,
Article 1, Section 3, our monthly general membership meetings are to be held on the second
Wednesday of each month. That date would be June 9, 2021. Social gatherings remain prohibited
under the current health restrictions as at that date.
In order to be in compliance with the announced ability for LL764 to hold a General membership
meeting after June 15, 2021 of up to fifty (50) members, the Executive of LL764 requested and
received approval from the Grand Lodge Canadian office for a dispensation from Article 1, Section 3
of our Bylaws. That dispensation will allow us to delay the date of our monthly General membership
meeting from Wednesday, June 9, 2021 by two (2) weeks.
Therefore, the June General meeting will now be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 Read Bulletin here…
